Hey, I’m Mason!

I’ve been playing music most of my life at this point—starting with school bands and choir (even steel drums!), and eventually finding my way to guitar, bass, mandolin, singing and more.

Over the last fifteen years I’ve played in bands, written original music, and performed everywhere from farmers’ markets to venues like the Whisky A Go Go My musical tastes pulls from rock, punk, shoegaze, metal, blues, bluegrass, classical and whatever else inspires me in the moment. At my core, I just love creating music with others and inspiring newcomers the same joy that got me playing!

Along with performing, I’m also passionate about teaching music. Whether it’s guitar, mandolin, or understanding the “why” behind music theory, I enjoy helping people unlock new skills and grow in their relationship to music.
